I’m excited to be running a free upcycling and mending workshop at Ebor Studio, with 10 places available ♻️
This introductory session is designed to build confidence with simple mending techniques, explore creative upcycling ideas, and support you in transforming pre-loved clothing into something completely new. No experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to have a go.
Some garments will be provided, but you’re encouraged to bring along your own pieces if there’s something you’d love to repair, adapt, or reimagine.

Refreshments will be provided, and you’re welcome to bring snacks 😋
If you have your own sewing machine and are able to bring it along, please feel free to do so. I have a limited number of domestic machines available to use on the day.
For anyone who doesn’t own a machine, can’t transport one, or prefers not to use one, I’ll also be demonstrating plenty of hand-sewing techniques, so there’s absolutely no need to worry — you’ll still be able to take part fully.
At the end of the session, participants will be asked to complete a short questionnaire to help inform future workshops — including preferred topics, formats, and timings.
