Hiya, unfortunately on the 23rd of October I had an accident. I broke my leg in quite a few places and after a short stay in hospital waiting for surgery, I’m now at home recovering.
As this is no ordinary break….because I always do things in a ridiculous fashion, it’ll take months to heal. I can’t put weight on my leg, which in turn means I can’t walk up any stairs. My studio is based on the second floor of an old cotton mill, the stairs are steep and right now impossible to climb.
Before my accident I designed and made a brand-new Violet Flamingo collection, these pieces were due to be photographed on a two of my lovely models and launched on the website on a pre order basis. Sadly, our plans had to change but we found a way of sharing these new items on our socials, selling the one-of-a-kind pieces and Em has been managing all the deliveries.
We’re always active on our socials regardless of accidents, lockdowns and other interruption! We’re worth adding for a daily VF fix and if you’re in need a little VF treat, please do follow the private Facebook VIP page as we’ll be sharing some super sale items very soon.
I can’t wait to return to the studio but for now my recovery will be slow and steady, I will be back and I’ll be bringing a very full sketchbook of ideas too! Thank you so much for your continued support, it really does mean the world to me.
